Head Case is the thirty-first episode of Buzz Lightyear of Star Command. It first aired on November 6, 2000, and is the thirty-fifth episode in production.
Synopsis[]
After misreading a fax from the LGMs, Commander Nebula believes XR may be having mental problems and schedules a psychiatric evaluation for XR. It results in XR being sent on vacation in an attempt to keep him sane.
However, things go awry when XL kidnaps XR, modifies his head and swaps bodies with him. He then proceeds to plant a bomb at Star Command in an attempt to destroy it.

- After XL puts on false optics similar to XR's, his head turns yellow in the next shot without explanation.
- It is rather odd that many don't see the head shape differences between XR and XL, as XR has visible eyebrows.
